SAND TART COOKIES 
4 to 4 1/2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter-softened
3 eggs

Cream together sugar, butter and eggs. Slowly add flour and blend well. Refrigerate until cold. Roll cold dough to 1/4 inch thick. Cut shapes, sprinkle with colored sugar and bake at 325°F 7 to 10 minutes.

Dough can be refrigerated up to 2 weeks.
