5 LAYER MIDDLE-EASTERN DIP | |
1 (8-12") round clear bowl, 5-6" deep 1 pkg. Near East Taboule, prepare per pkg. instructions 1 1/2 to 2 c. Hommus (bought from store dairy dept./deli dept.) 1 1/2 to 2 c. Taboule (bought from store, already made up, has more parsley than Near East) 1 1/2 to 2 c. fresh tomatoes and onion, both chopped together to equal amounts 1 1/2 to 2 c. Feta cheese Judge above amounts according to your bowl size. Layer above so each is 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick: 1st Taboule, the type with more parsley 2nd Hommus 3rd Tomato/onion mix - squeeze out extra juice before layering in. 4th Near East Taboule 5th Feta cheese Serve this with Pita bread chips, you can make your own by splitting a Pita bread loaf in 1/2 to have 2 round halves, then spread each with butter, sprinkle with garlic powder cut into 1/8ths, bake until crisp/brown. Cool, keep sealed airtight. |
