SLUSH PUNCH | |
2 pkgs. (3 oz.) Jello 2 c. boiling water 4 c. cold water 2 (46 oz.) cans unsweetened pineapple juice 2 c. sugar (or 1 1/2 c.) 7 qt. 7-Up or ginger ale Dissolve flavored gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cold water, juice and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves. Pour into 3 (1/2 gallon) containers. Freeze until firm. Two hours before serving, remove cartons from freezer and let stand to thaw at room temperature. To serve, place blocks in punch bowl and break apart with a fork. Add 1 quart 7-Up for each 1/2 gallon of punch base. (Do NOT use ginger ale with lime Jello because it changes color.) Serves 59 (4 ounce). |
