1/4 c. butter, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (soft)
1 egg
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 (18.5 oz.) pkg. yellow or devils food cake mix

Cream butter and cheese. Blend in egg and vanilla. Add cake mix 1/3 at a time (by hand). Drop by scant teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
