SWISS STEAK 
3 lb. steak
1/2 tsp. salt
Add spice flavors to taste
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Dash of pepper

Cut steak into small serving pieces; pound out with hammer. Roll pieces in flour then sear in small amount of vegetable oil in a heavy roaster with a tight fitting lid. Add salt, pepper and spices to meat, then pour in cream of mushroom soup, diluted with 1-2 cans of water, pour over meat. Place lid on tightly and cook in 275 degree oven for about 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
