RUM "PUNCH" 
1 c. freshly squeezed limes, peeled
2 c. syrup or sugar (sweet)
3 c. rum
4 c. water
Bitters & nutmeg
Red cherries

Mix the liquid ingredients together in a large bowl. (Can make ahead and store in refrigerator.) To serve: Fill glass with cracked ice, pour liquid in. Add a dash of bitters and a dash of nutmeg. Top with red cherry.

This drink is very popular in the West Indies, and should be treated with respect, or the drinker will know the meaning of "punch".
