STUFFED CABBAGE 
1 med. head cabbage
3/4 lb. ground beef
3/4 lb. sausage
3/4 c. rice, uncooked
1 jar sauerkraut
Garlic powder to taste
Salt & pepper to taste

Core and place cabbage head in pot of boiling water to soften leaves. Mix other ingredients except kraut and roll into meatballs. Roll each meatball in a cabbage leaf. Layer in Dutch oven or large pot with sauerkraut. Add 1 cup of boiled cabbage liquid. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 2 hours.
