1 lb. extra lean ground beef 1 c. grated carrot 2 tbsp. minced fresh onion 1 tsp. salt 4 tbsp. bottled steak sauce, divided 1 tbsp. butter 1 can (10 1/2 oz.) condensed beef broth 3/4 c. water 8 gingersnaps, finely crushed In a bowl mix beef, carrot, onion, salt and 2 tablespoon steak sauce. Shape into 4 patties. Brown well in butter on both sides. Mix remaining steak sauce with remaining ingredients. Add to skillet. Simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, 10 to 15 minutes or until sauce is thickened. Serve over buttered noodles. Makes 4 servings. |
