CHEESE STRATTA 
12 slices white bread, cubed
1/2 lb. extra sharp Cheddar cheese (Cracker Barrel)
1/2 lb. butter
4 eggs
2 c. milk

Melt butter and cheese in double boiler or microwave. Beat eggs and milk. Place bread in 2 layers with cheese mixture in between in a 2 quart casserole. Place eggs and milk on last. Chill overnight in refrigerator. Place dish in a pan of water. Bake 2 hours at 325 degrees. Serve with a dish of cold pineapple chunks.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
