RAY'S CROCK POT STEW 
1 lb. stew beef
1 sm. chopped onion
3 med. potatoes
1 box frozen carrots or equivalent
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 pkg. Lipton onion soup
1/4 c. red wine
Bay leaf (opt.)
1/2 tsp. thyme (opt.)
3 med. turnips, cut up (opt.)
1/4 tsp. pepper (opt.)

Put all ingredients into a crock pot. Cook at low heat for 10 hours or more.
