EGGNOG PIE 
6 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
1/2 c. cold water
1 pt. whipping cream
4 tsp. rum flavoring
Vanilla wafer pie shell

Beat egg yolks until very light in color, about 5 minutes. Add sugar, mix well. Soak gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water. Place gelatin in saucepan and cook over low heat until dissolved. Add to egg mixture and beat briskly. Beat whipping cream until stiff. Fold into egg mixture; add rum flavoring. Cool until it begins to set. Pour into vanilla wafer pie shell and cover lightly with nutmeg. This pie can be made a day in advance or it will set up in about 3 hours.
