CHICKEN DIVAN | |
1 bunch broccoli or 2 pkg. (10 oz.) chopped broccoli 1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. flour 2 c. milk 2 chicken bouillon cubes 1 1/2 lb. sliced cooked chicken or turkey 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese Cook broccoli until just tender, drain, arrange on flat flameproof dish. Melt butter, stir in flour. Add milk and cook, stirring, until the sauce is thickened and smooth. Add bouillon cubes, stir to dissolve. Pour half the sauce over the broccoli, top with sliced chicken, and cover with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese, put dish under broiler until cheese is melted and sauce bubbling hot. (Makes 6 servings.) |
