LAYERED SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE 
2 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
4 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
Mushrooms (opt.)
1 c. water
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
16 oz. box spaghetti, broken in smaller pieces
Cheddar cheese, grated

Cook spaghetti and drain. Brown hamburger, onion, garlic together. Mix tomato sauce, water, salt, pepper and chili powder; simmer. Place 1/2 of spaghetti in casserole dish, meat sauce and cheddar cheese. Repeat layers. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
