RICE PILAF - MICROWAVE 
1 c. uncooked long grain rice
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. finely chopped green onion
1/4 c. finely chopped celery
2 c. water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1/3 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 c. frozen peas

Combine rice and butter in a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Microwave PL7 for 2-3 minutes, stirring once. Add celery and green onion. Microwave full power 1 minute. Add water and bouillon cubes. Stir well and cover. Microwave full power 5 minutes, microwave PL4 for 16-18 minutes. Stir in mushrooms and peas. Let stand, covered, for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork. Yield 4 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
