GEORGIA PECAN PIE 
1 c. Karo all-purpose syrup
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 c. pecans (halves or chopped)
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust

Mix all ingredients for filling together. Add pecans last. Pour into pastry shell. Bake in 400 degree hot oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake 30-35 minutes, depending on oven. If crust is done, remove from oven. Let cool and serve.
