GOOD ICE BOX PICKLES 
3 c. vinegar (5% acidity)
5 c. sugar
1/3 c. pickling salt
1 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. celery seed
Cucumbers

Mix first 7 items in gallon glass jar. Wash and slice cucumbers, then add to jar until full. Store in refrigerator, stir every other day. Ready in 4 weeks. Note: We start when they taste good. If desired, can add broccoli or cauliflower. We prefer the cucumbers only. Makes 1 gallon.
