TACO CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp. each basil and oregano (optional)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 8 oz. cans tomato puree
5 oz. cooked noodles
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 c. cheese

Brown meat, onions and garlic. Cook noodles. Mix meat and noodles together. Add seasoning mix and mushroom soup. Pour in casserole. Pour tomatoes over noodles and meat and top with cheese.

Bake 45 minutes at 350°F.

Note: For the tomatoes in this recipe, 1 16 oz can puree or 1 8 oz can puree plus 1 8 oz can diced tomatoes may be used. If fresh ripe tomatoes are available, 1/2 lb. fresh diced tomatoes plus 1 8 oz. can puree may also be used.
