CARAMEL CREAM FROSTING FOR
APPLESAUCE CAKE
 
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. Milnot
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

In medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, Milnot, and butter. Heat to boiling. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar. Beat until smooth and thick.

Makes enough for 9 x 13 inch cake.

This can also be done in the microwave. Bring mixture to boil, 3 to 4 minutes on 80% power. Follow above instructions the same.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
