RHUBARB CRUNCH 
1 c. uncooked oats
1 c. Wheat Flakes (I use Wheaties)
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. cut - up rhubarb (you may add 1/2 c. of crushed pineapple for
1/2 cup of the rhubarb)
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar

Mix uncooked oats, Wheat flakes (or Wheaties), flour, soda, salt, shortening, brown sugar and vanilla together, like pie crust. Pat 1/2 of mixture into an oblong pan greased. Mix rhubarb and granulated sugar and spread over crust in pan. Add the rest of the crunch mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until rhubarb is done and top is brown and crisp.
