DOUGHNUTS 
2 beaten eggs
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/4 c. cream
3 2/3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

To beaten eggs add sugar, butter, milk and cream. Sift dry ingredients. Add gradually to sour milk mixture.

Thaw bread board lightly and pat dough out into a circle. Let rest a minute. Note! Do not roll out, PAT out.

Fry in deep fat (I use lard). The flavor seems better. Drain on brown paper. This doughnut is very moist and freezes well.
