GREEN CABBAGE SALAD 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 c. vinegar
1 lg. head cabbage, shredded
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 stalk celery, chopped
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1 green pepper, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped

Boil sugar, water, and vinegar for 2 minutes. Let cool. Mix cabbage with salt. Let stand for 1 hour. Squeeze out all juice. Add remaining ingredients. Mix cabbage mixture with boiled mixture. Yield: 10-12 servings.
