STREUSEL COFFEE CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/4 c. brown sugar (packed) plus a little cinnamon
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. dairy sour cream (12 oz.)
2 c. diced apples (optional)

Set oven to 350. Measure 2/3 cup of dry cake into small bowl. Cut butter into brown sugar, add nuts. Set aside.

Beat eggs lightly with fork. Stir in sour cream. Blend in remaining cake mix. Batter will be thick and slightly lumpy. Pour half the batter into pan. Sprinkle half the nut/sugar topping over batter. Spoon remaining batter into pan. Top with rest of topping.

Use greased pans: 13x9x2, bake 40-45 minutes; or tube pan, 10x4, bake 60-65 minutes; or 2 loaf pans, 9x5x3, bake 40-45 minutes; or 2 round layer pans, 9 x 1 1/2, bake 40-45 minutes.
