EASY CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 
2 breasts (boiled and cut in small pieces)
1 can cream of chicken soup
2/3 can of water
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

DUMPLINGS:

1 heaping tbsp., butter flavored Crisco
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
Flour

Mix first 5 ingredients in a dish until mixed well. Next, put 4 or 5 cups of sifted flour in a bowl. Make a well in middle of flour. Put in Crisco and buttermilk. Mix together. Use only enough flour to make a ball. (About size of a grapefruit.) Flour hands. Get a small ball of dough, flatten in between hands. Put these strips on top of chicken mixture until all covered. Bake in oven on 400 degrees until dough is brown. Lift up dumplings to make sure dough is done on underside, too.
