SAUSAGE CORNBREAD 
1 lb. pork sausage
1 egg
1 3/4 c. milk
2 c. cornbread mix

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Partially brown sausage in large skillet, reserve 1/4 cup of drippings. Grease a 10" skillet; preheat in oven. Combine egg, milk and reserved drippings. Stir in sausage and cornmeal; blend well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.

NOTE: If desired, 1/4 cup vegetable oil may be substituted for sausage drippings or oil may be added to drippings to equal 1/4 cup.
