SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. white rice
1 env. brown gravy mix
1/2 c. white wine
1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms

Combine rice, pepper, salt and rice and mix thoroughly. Shape into small meatballs, approximately 1" diameter. Brown meatballs in frying pan. Drain off grease and set aside. In frying pan make brown gravy following instructions on envelope. When gravy is ready add wine and mushrooms, simmer for 5 minutes. Add meatballs to gravy mixture and heat thoroughly. Serves 4. Wine and mushrooms may be omitted.
