1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. golden raisins

Put raisins in hot water to plump and drain thoroughly. Mix ingredients in order given. Spray cookie sheet with Pam or leave ungreased. Drop cookies by rounded teaspoonful.

Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes. Let set a little before removing from cookie sheet.

Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
