2 c. sugar 1 c. white syrup 1/2 c. water 1 1/2 tbsp. anise Cook until it forms a hard ball when dropped into cold water or 300 degrees on candy thermometer. Pour into greased pan. Crack when cold. If you want it colored put in food coloring just before you pour into greased pan. |
