DROP SUGAR COOKIES 
Oil for baking sheets
1/3 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. skim milk

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Oil baking sheets lightly. Combine oil, sugar and vanilla in large bowl. Add egg. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until blended. Stir in flour, salt and baking soda until mixture is smooth.

Blend in milk. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheets. Flatten cookies with bottom of glass lightly oiled and dipped in granulated sugar. Bake 6 to 8 minutes. Avoid overbaking. Makes 3 dozen.
