3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. flour
2 eggs
Confectioners sugar or maple syrup to taste

Preheat oven to 475 degrees. Put butter in heavy frying pan. Place in oven while preheating until butter is completely melted. Meanwhile mix flour, milk, and eggs lightly to make a batter. It should be lumpy. After butter is melted, add batter to pan and bake for 12 minutes. Remove from pan and place on plate. If preferred, sprinkle with sugar or add syrup to taste.
