CLAM CHOWDER (RED) | |
1/2 lb. bacon, diced 1 c. onions, chopped 3 c. diced potatoes 4 c. Clamato juice 4 (6 1/2 oz.) can clams 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. thyme Saute bacon (light), add onions, saute until transparent. Add juice, potatoes, salt and pepper. Cook until potatoes are barely tender. Add clams and thyme, cook until potatoes are tender. |
