TAMALE PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
3 c. tomato sauce
4 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 qt. chilled corn meal mush
Pitted ripe olives

Brown beef in skillet; drain off fat. Add tomato sauce and seasonings; heat thoroughly. Pour into oblong 2-quart baking dish lined with thin 1/8-inch slices of mush. Top with more mush. If desired, stud up with ripe olives.

Bake in hot oven (425 degrees) 25-30 minutes.

Perfect with crisp green salad, cool pineapple, or banana dessert.
