1 box devils food cake mix
2 eggs
3/4 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix well; no liquids so keep mixing until well blended. Place 1 teaspoon of dough rolled into a ball on a cookie sheet. (Do not smash.) Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Let cool.

Ice cream (chocolate chip or chocolate chip mint or your favorite)

Put an ice cream scoop on one cookie. Top with another. Wrap in plastic wrap and freeze.
