MONKEY CAKE | |
1/2 c. raisins 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. cinnamon 4 cans (10 count) biscuits 1 1/2 sticks butter 3/4 c. sugar While fixing biscuits have 1 1/2 sticks butter plus 3/4 cup sugar on low heat on stove to melt. Quarter each of the biscuits in 2 cans and put in large bowl. Sprinkle half of the sugar and cinnamon mixture on top, add nuts and raisins. Toss so biscuits are coated. Cut the other 2 cans into quarters and add to bowl. Add rest of cinnamon and sugar mixture. Toss so all are well coated. Then add the melted butter and sugar and mix carefully. Put in ungreased bundt pan and bake for 35 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Dump out immediately. |
