TURKEY WILD RICE SOUP 
3 (10 3/4 oz.) cans condensed chicken broth
2 c. water
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 c. uncooked wild rice, rinsed
2 c. half and half
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. cubed, cooked turkey
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
8 slices bacon, crisp
2 c. chopped celery
3/4 c. flour
Pepper to taste

Diced ham may be substituted for bacon.

Combine chicken broth and water. Add wild rice and onions. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 35 to 40 minutes or until rice is tender. In different saucepan melt butter. Stir in flour, poultry seasoning and pepper. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly, until smooth. Gradually stir in half and half. Cook until slightly thickened, stirring constantly. Slowly add half and half mixture into rice mixture, stirring constantly. Add remaining ingredients. Heat gently, stirring frequently. Do not boil. Makes 8 (1 1/2 cup) servings.
