MEAT LOAF 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork (if desired)
1 tsp. salt (scant)
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 slices soft bread in pieces
1 sm. onion, chopped
5 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. catsup
Sprinkle garlic salt
Celery salt
1 can cream of tomato soup
1 can water

Beat eggs, milk, seasonings and catsup. Fry onion in butter and add to the egg mixture. Add ground beef; mix well. Form a loaf with your hands and fold meat over several times.

Grease skillet, put meat loaf in center of large skillet. Baste every so often and brown on one side. Turn it over carefully with large spatula. Mix soup and water; pour over top of loaf. Add halves of potatoes around loaf. Cook until potatoes are done. Check meat loaf occasionally as it may burn.
