BAKLAVA 
1 pkg. phyllo dough
4 c. ground nuts - walnuts
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. lemon

Cook together: 1 c. honey 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. lemon juice

Bring to a boil and simmer a few minutes.

Grease a pan 9x13x2.

Cut dough to fit pan (approximately in half - put pan on top of dough to measure).

Put two layers at a time, butter, 12 or more layers deep. Spread 1 1/4 cups nuts over pastry, 6 layers more of buttered pastry, 1 1/4 cups nuts; repeat. Finish off layers of pastry.

Cut through top 8 layers into diamond shape. Bake at 325 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Pour warm honey over baked (cooled 3 hours) bakalava and cut through.
