2 c. meal
1/2 c. flour
1 small onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. oil
2 eggs
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sugar

Mix all dry ingredients real good. Then add the other ingredients. Mix thoroughly. With 2 teaspoons, spoon out into hot canola oil.
