CALYPSO PIE 
20 Oreo cookies, finely crushed
1/2 gallon ice cream, softened
1/4 c. butter, melted

FUDGE:

1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix cookies and melted butter together and press into large Pyrex dish. Soften ice cream and spread over cookie mixture. Refreeze until ice cream becomes hardened again. Any flavor of ice cream will work.

To make fudge sauce, melt butter and chocolate on top of stove in double boiler. Remove from heat and add sugar, salt and milk. Heat again for 5 minutes or until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and add vanilla.

Let fudge sauce cool for a while and pour over ice cream and refreeze. Serve this pie soon after removing from freezer.
