LIME PICKLES 
7 lbs. pickles, sliced
1 gal. water
1 c. dehydrated lime

Pour water and lime mixture over pickles and let stand 24 hours. Wash off in clean water and stand in clean water 4 to 6 hours.

Mix: 3 tbsp. salt 1 tsp. pickling spice 2 qts. vinegar 1 tbsp. celery seed 1 tsp. whole cloves

Pour above liquid over pickles in evening and let stand overnight. Next morning heat and simmer 30 minutes. Pack pickles into quart jars. Boil liquid and pour over pickles and seal. 4 quarts.
