CUCUMBER SALAD 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
7 c. peeled and sliced cucumbers
1 c. chopped peppers, red or green
1 c. coarsely chopped onions

Whip together first 4 ingredients. Chill overnight. Pour over rest of ingredients and let stand. Will keep one month in refrigerator! You can add to the leftover syrup, or use it over any tossed salads.
