Hobo Cake - Recipe

HOBO CAKE

2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Add:

1 egg
3 c. crushed pineapple, juice & all
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix well. Pour into 9 x 13 pan that has been greased and floured.

Top with:

1 c. coconut
2 c. chopped walnuts

Sprinkle over cake and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 cube butter
1 cube butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. canned milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil together 1 minute. Cool and pour over cake.
