CHEESEBURGER PIE 
Pastry for one 9 inch pie crust
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chili sauce

CHEESE TOPPING:

1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. each dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Heat oven to 425 degrees. Prepare pastry. In medium skillet, cook and stir meat until brown. Drain off fat. Stir in salt, oregano, pepper, crumbs, tomato sauce, onion, green pepper and cheese. Turn into pastry-lined pie pan.

Make cheese topping by beating egg and milk together. Stir in seasonings and cheese and spread all over pie. Bake 30 minutes. Cut in wedges. Stir together chili sauce and remaining tomato sauce and serve with pie. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
