1/3 c. butter, softened
4 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 to 4 tbsp. milk

Mix butter and sugar. Stir in vanilla and milk; beat until smooth and of spreading consistency. Makes enough frosting for a double batch of cupcakes.
