LETTUCE CHICKEN 
Chicken breasts and/or thighs
5 strips bacon, crisp
3 tbsp. butter
5 green onion & tops
8 very thin slices of lemon with peel
1 lg. head lettuce, cut into 1/2 inch strips
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. white-wine vinegar
4 tbsp. parsley, minced
Salt

Crisp bacon. Add butter to some of the drippings. Saute chicken; remove. Stir-fry lemon, lettuce, onions in sauce. Return chicken. Sprinkle with sugar, nutmeg and wine vinegar mixture. Add parsley. Salt to taste. Serve with broiled tomatoes and biscuits.
