BLUEGRASS DESSERT 
8 med. flour tortillas
1 can pie filling, peach, cherry, apple, blueberry or any

Spoon the pie filling into tortillas and roll up. Put into baking dish. Set aside and make sauce.

SAUCE:

2 c. water
1 stick butter, I use Parkay
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla or almond flavoring

Bring water, butter and sugar to boil. Cook about 3 or 4 minutes. Add vanilla and pour over tortillas. Let set 45 minutes to soak up some of the sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve warm or cold. This is very rich but oh so good.

I changed amounts to 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water 1 stick butter and a generous shot of vanilla. I processed my apple pie filling to a smoother texture. Big hit on New Years Eve. I might toast sugar on the top next time for presentation.
