HUNGARIAN NUT ROLL 
6 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. butter
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. warm milk
3 eggs
1/2 pt. sour cream
2 yeast cakes or dry

Dissolve yeast in milk. Combine flour, butter, salt, sugar and sour cream. Add eggs and yeast and milk mixture. Blend well. Divide dough in 4 or 5 parts. Roll out thin as for jelly roll.

Cover with nut filling and roll up, sealing ends. Place on cookie sheet. Brush with beaten egg yolk. Prick top with fork. Let rise 1 1/2 hours. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.

NUT FILLING FOR NUT ROLL:

8 oz. ground walnuts
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
3 pats butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Lemon juice to taste

Mix walnuts and sugar. Heat milk and butter. Add to walnut mix with vanilla and lemon juice.
