CHICKEN CACCIATORE | |
2 pkgs. chickens, quartered 1 lg. jar Prego marinara 1 green pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces 1 red pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces 1 white onion Cook chicken for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Pour off fat. Take large pot and cover with sauce on bottom. Put a layer of chicken, pour sauce over chicken, then sprinkle with peppers and onions. Repeat layering until all ingredients have been used. Cover and simmer over a low flame for 1 1/2 hours. Serve over rice. |
