MEXICAN WEDDING CAKES 
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
1/4 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts

Beat butter, sugar and vanilla in a medium size bowl until fluffy. Stir in flour and salt gradually until blended; stir in nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
