CARAMEL COOKIES 
1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 heaping c. plain flour
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter. Add sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder, nuts and vanilla. Beat well after each addition. Pour in greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 50 minutes at 275 degrees.
