SUE'S SALAD 
1 head Romaine lettuce
1/2 c. croutons
1/2 c. bacon bits
1 egg
1/2 c. olive oil
3 lg. garlic cloves, chopped finely
Lots of pepper
8 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

At least 5 hours before serving, chop garlic and put into an airtight jar with the oil. Wash and dry lettuce, rip and put in bowl. Add cheese, bacon bits and croutons. Just before eating add lemon juice, pepper and egg to the oil. Shake well and pour over salad. Eat at once or it will go soggy.
